TLI hosted by the Depart. of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh is now accepting applications for two programs designed for middle and high school students


TLI (Technology Leadership Initiative) is offering two great programs for students to participate in. The first program is a summer robotics program for high school students that builds

Computer science skills and opens up college and career possibilities. This is the fifth year for this seven-week program, which will take place from June 25, 2012 to August 13, 2012. The mission of the Technology Leadership Initiative is to increase the number of African Americans and females in the Computer and Information Science (CIS) fields. The second program is geared towards middle school girls entering grades 7th-9th grade who want to explore computer science and expand their academic and career opportunities. This program called TechDivaz will be held from June 25th to June29th and will be divided into a morning and afternoon section. Both programs have application deadlines of June 15, 2012.
